WMS will award seven $15,000 scholarships to students interested in studying sustainability and ten $10,000 scholarships to day students.
The White Mountain School is pleased to announce the recent receipt of an Edward E. Ford Foundation grant. This generous award will fund scholarships for students interested in our Leadership for Global Sustainability Program. Beginning in the fall of 2011, The White Mountain School will award seven $15,000 scholarships to students interested in studying sustainability. Our sustainability program has been an important part of our curriculum for the past eight years, and has been recognized by NAIS with a Leading Edge award. We are grateful to the Edward E. Ford Foundation for this new support and affirmation of this program.
The White Mountain School is also pleased to announce the North Country Scholars Program. As part of our commitment to the North Country, we are devoting up to $100,000 to day student scholarships. Any day student applicant on High Honor Roll at their current school is eligible to apply to be a North Country Scholar and receive a $10,000 scholarship to The White Mountain School.
