Wes Goldsberry — Academic Dean
Wes is an experienced boarding school teacher, having taught in the humanities for six years at St. Andrew’s School in Delaware. He did his undergraduate work at Davidson College, and holds master’s degrees from both Princeton and Harvard. Wes will be teaching AP Human Geography and English I. He is living in Steele House and will serve as an Administrator on Duty.Ryan Aldrich — Director of College Counseling

Ryan served as Director of College Counseling at Vail Mountain School for four years before becoming Assistant Director of Admission at The College of Idaho. He began his career at the Kent School as Associate Director of Admission. He is a graduate of Colby College and has a master’s degree from the University of Denver. Ryan will live in Edge House, serve as an Administrator on Duty, and coach skiing (including telemark instruction).Elizabeth Aldrich, Ph.D. — Department Chair: Sustainability Studies

Elizabeth was most recently an Assistant Professor at Boise State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado and did her undergraduate work at Middlebury College. Elizabeth has presented on climate change issues at conferences around the world. Earlier in her career, she taught students in grades 6-12 at Vail Mountain School. Elizabeth will be teaching AP Environmental Science, Biology, and Climate and Energy. She will live in Edge house (with Ryan and their infant daughter, Avery!) and will coach whitewater paddling in the spring.Hart Webb — Faculty Member

Hart is joining us as a faculty member in science and math. She will teach Physics, Chemistry, and courses in math. Hart did her undergraduate work in physics at Wesleyan University, where she also earned a master’s degree in Astronomy. She completed a second master’s degree (in Environmental Studies) at Columbia University this past spring. Hart will live and do duty in Carter and will coach soccer and farm and forest.Sam Critchlow — Faculty Member

Sam is joining our math department. He has taught mathematics at High Mountain Institute and The Outdoor Academy. Sam is a graduate of Amherst College, where he twice won the Walker Prize in Mathematics. Sam will live in Solar Dorm and will help coach the snowboard team.Laura Morse — Director of Health Services

Laura is an experienced nurse who has worked with a variety of schools and businesses (including providing workshops in the past for The White Mountain School). She has lived in Bethlehem for many years. She is an active outdoor athlete and volunteers on the local search and rescue squad.Tori Hallowell — Assistant Director of Admission

After graduating from Connecticut College, Tori spent several years as an environmental educator for Nature’s Classroom. Tori will be living and doing duty in Carter.Becky Cummings – 125th Anniversary Coordinator

Becky taught English and theatre at The White Mountain School in the early 2000s. After pursuing teaching and community theatre experiences in Ohio, Becky returned to northern New Hampshire. Becky has a BA from The College of Wooster and an MFA from the University of Montana. In addition to her work with us on our 125th celebrations, Becky will continue to pursue her community theatre and theatre education passion locally.
