WMS welcomes Bayard Russell, local NH climber and Outdoor Research-sponsored athlelete, to campus for Winter Festival Weekend!
On Saturday, January 11th at 6pm, The White Mountain School will host a talk with Bayard Russell, a local New England climber and Outdoor Research-sponsored athlete. He has been climbing all over the Northeast and has been guiding rock and alpine climbs in New Hampshire since 2003. He is an American Mountain Guide Association-certified Rock Instructor and owner of local NH rock climbing guide service, Cathedral Mountain Guides. He also serves as the Director and Team Leader for New Hampshire’s volunteer rescue group, Mountain Rescue Service.
Bayard has followed his love of climbing into the most obscure corners of the New Hampshire forest, to remote Alaskan glaciers and the high summits of mountains in Yosemite.
His slideshow will showcase his winter climbing exploits in the Northeast USA. The White Mountain School looks forward to Saturday’s show and we are buzzing with excitement!
The show is free and open to the public, located in the main building and Great Hall at The White Mountain School, 371 West Farm Rd, Bethlehem, NH 03574. For information, contact Ted Teegarden at firstname.lastname@example.org or 603-444-2928 x31
