The rainy weather couldn’t dampen the excitement during White Mountain Welcome Day on Sunday, September 3. While proctors had arrived Wednesday for leadership training and dorm preparation, and new international students Thursday for a few days of orientation activities, Sunday was the first day that the whole community came together. After bags were unloaded, schedules finalized, and connections with faculty and both new and old friends made, everyone gathered in the Chapel for Convocation. Tim Breen, Head of School, spoke about the value of living in a diverse community like White Mountain, and about the importance of respecting the dignity of each member of the community, even when we wrestle with differing ideas and opinions.
